Nateisha Anderson | Associate

Nateisha L. Anderson is an Associate in the Real Estate Group in the Nassau office, having joined Lennox Paton in August 2013. Nateisha specializes in the representation of purchasers and vendors in the sale and acquisition of residential and commercial property as well as the representation of mortgagees and mortgagors in secured financing transactions. Her practice extends generally to private client, corporate, and commercial matters. Nateisha is also developing a practice in resort and condominium development including aspects of acquisition, financing, regulatory approvals, master planning, sales programmes and the drafting of Heads of Agreements.

Nateisha began her studies at The College of The Bahamas where she obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Law and Criminal Justice with Distinction in 2009. She then attended The University of Manchester in Manchester, England where she attained her LL.B. with Honours in 2012.  She went on to complete the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) with the accreditation of Very Competent (VC) at The University of Law in Birmingham, England in July 2013. Nateisha was called to the Bar of England and Wales in July 2013 and later called to the Bar of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas in September 2013.

Nateisha is a member of the Honourable Society of Inner Temple and The Bahamas Bar Association. She is also a qualified mediator and a member of The Bahamas Association of Mediators, having received her qualification from The London School of Mediation in July 2013.

  • Assisted with the representation of the purchasers in the $150 million acquisition of a luxury hotel and resort in The Bahamas
  • Assisted in the representation of the purchaser in the $55 million acquisition of a cay in The Bahamas
  • Assisted in the representation of the vendor and mortgagee in the $30 million sale of a cay in The Bahamas
  • Represented the mortgagee in the $14 million secured financing of a hotel in New Providence, The Bahamas
  • Acted for the vendor in the $6 million sale of a unit in the Ocean Club Resort & Marina, Paradise Island
  • Acted for the purchaser in the acquisition of $4.5 million condominium project in New Providence
  • Represented the purchaser in the $1.8 million acquisition of a cay in The Bahamas
  • Acting for various purchasers and vendors in the sale and acquisition of properties and units within Ocean Club Estates, The Ocean Club Resort & Marina, and Lyford Cay
  • Acting for mortgagees and mortgagors in various secured financing transactions
  • Assisting with the drafting of Heads of Agreements and the drafting of various regulatory applications to the Bahamas Investment Authority and Exchange Control Department of the Central Bank of The Bahamas
