Senior Associate promotion at Lennox Paton (BVI)

We are delighted to announce that Jonathan Child has been promoted to the position of Senior Associate. 

Jonathan is a Commercial Litigator in the firm’s British Virgin Islands office. He specialises in large-scale corporate and commercial disputes and insolvency disputes. His work spans the borders of the Caribbean, the United Kingdoms, CIS, and the Far East. He advises on company and commercial disputes, acting for shareholders, directors and management teams. He has experience of matters with cross-border insolvency, having acted for liquidators, receivers and creditors from around the world.

His practice regularly has an international and cross-jurisdictional element and he routinely acts for high-net-worth individuals and entrepreneurs from all over the world, including in Dubai, England, Hong Kong, Monaco, Malaysia and the United States. He is experienced in working with and managing client and legal teams as part of wider litigation management and strategy.

Jonathan has also acted for major corporations including Nissan Motor Manufacturing (UK) Limited, the India Infrastructure Finance Company, Jones Lang LaSalle, and Les Ambassadeurs Casino.

He routinely works and appears on matters in the High Court and Court of Appeal in the Eastern Caribbean and he has also appeared in the Privy Council.
